Hello @qwerty13
I have spoken with the developers and they have informed me of a few things.
First off, the most correct translation system is used by Loco, as it uses the main .pot file, which includes the translations for both free and Pro versions of Blocksy. This gives us and our users better management for translations.
Second, WordPress.org does not use the .pot file, but does scanning of the files to see which translations are available, so it is “normal” to see less translations there, as the Pro files aren’t included.
But third of all, it is curious to see why your GlotPress install does not correctly detect things. We use GlotPress ourselves for Blocksy’s Pro version, but we use it in combination with the .pot file. Maybe there’s something that you may need to tweak in your settings pane?
Hope this clears everything up!
Thanks.
Hi @cteduard
Thanks for your clear reply, so there is not any public environment to see and translate Pro strings of Blocksy? Can I contribute by sending pot files manually?
Hi @qwerty13
Oh, we do have a place for that. Check it out – http://translate.creativethemes.com.
Let me know once you submit your translation and I’ll try to approve it.
Thanks!
