Hi,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
As these are the English-language forums, I’ll reply in English. This way, more people can benefit from the discussion. I hope that’s ok.
The cause for this is some “over optimization”. Your site uses a plugin that changes how JavaScript files are loaded, including the jQuery JavaScript library that TablePress relies on. To overcome this conflict, and as horizontal scrolling is the only feature of the DataTables JavaScript library that your tables use, I recommend to:
- Install and activate the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ as a new plugin on the site.
- Uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on the “Edit” screens of your tables.
- Extend the used Shortcodes on this page with another parameter, like
[table id=123 responsive=scroll /]where 123 is the table ID.
Regards,
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
All right, thanks for your message. It worked great! I will now implement this for all tables.
Many thanks for the quick help and best regards,
Manuel
Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
