By re-releasing same version with the fix is just unethical and creates more confusion. Just take responsibility of the bug (how ever basic and stupid it was in terms of QA) and release actual new version. Now you expect people just find information by themselves and maybe know how to re-download the same version. I will also post this to Automattic WordPress plugin support team if there is no change.
