One of the clients owns a flooring store. Someone else listed her company’s social media information on the website, which has led to an increase in calls. She is interested in acquiring the domain “discountflooring.com.” However, when I search the current domain registration, it only shows the registrar as Namecheap. How can she go about purchasing this domain?

Do a whois search and contact the Registrant, Admin, and/or Tech Email to see if they will sell it to you.

Is this domain actually her website? If it is, then why doesn’t she know who controls the domain? She can likely contact namecheap and provide proof that it’s her business/website, and they should be able to give access to the domain.
If it’s not actually her website, then not much you can do. She can’t just decide she wants someone else’s domain if it’s already being used/owned by someone lol.
Someone has owned that website since 1997 homie. Unless she plans on spending six figures to aquire it… shes SOL.
they are cheaters , any domain with some traffic will be blocked to have a ransome , i got similar problems , when you buy from them they will register in the name o namecheap , i had to appeal to eurid to get my domain back after paying 5 years .
The domain info is set to private. There’s a “registrant email” listed in the WHOIS, which forwards to whoever owns that domain.
