The images on my blog have been breaking all month – I originally thought it was my media storage but I’ve done a solid few month clear out (74% now) and it’s still happening. I’ve had many images in my sidebar disappear (with the broken image small icon), and now what I’m using as a profile picture. A couple of weeks ago I lost my entire background. Having to reupload these is incredibly tedious, can anyone work out what’s happening so I can fix it?
I have checked a different browser and the same images show the same error. I also attempted to reuse the same image from my media with the same result.
I did post the first paragraph to the WordPress forums, didn’t get a response for more than 24 hours and the staff member assumed my issue was me deleting my own images and then being confused that I couldn’t see them (and then told me to pay to upgrade) so just to clarify, I am talking about images that are fully present in my media storage.
