  1. Cloudflare is probably the easiest method (assuming your host doesn’t offer LetsEncrypt for free?). Just make sure you have the correct MX records set.

  2. Cloudflare SSL works for pretty much all use-cases. What issue did you face with emails? What’s your web host? Most hosts should have one-click option for Let’s Encrypt certificates. If you have a VPS you can install certbot to automatically generate Let’s Encrypt certificates for your sites.

  3. You are doing something awfully wrong. You didn’t need to buy an SSL from anywhere. Why couldn’t you get your emails to work? Did you add the required records? (typically an MX record is needed at least).
