I can assure you that this problem has nothing to do with the chosen theme, but with your server configuration. Emphasised by the fact that you did not find any hardcoded http mentions in the code. 🙂
It would be recommended to contact your hosting provider and have them verify and implement SSL properly on your site. That is a guaranteed fix. Your hosting provider should be able to identify where SSL is failing and fix things from their end.
