Theme/editor recommendation for non webdev

[ad_1]

I want to make one or two small business sites with my dad as well as a few portfolio sites. We want some interactive elements, like changing image on scroll, before and after image comparison, etc. As I’m not a webdev and won’t be making any money with most of the websites I’d prefer a one time fee instead of a subscription. I’ve been researching the last few days and found the following:

GeneratePress + GenerateBlocks: one time fee for 500 sites. One of the best, I’ve heard, but probably more suited for webdevs. GB Pro has a yearly fee. All preview sites were static with no interactive elements we were looking for.

TheGem + Elementor: $60 for the theme per site. Elementor Pro is not needed according to TheGem. Has many features we are looking for on display on their site ([https://codex-themes.com/thegem/]).

Divi: one time fee for unlimited sites. Their site has a bunch of features on display but many people say Divi requires extra coding.

Do some of you have experience with these themes/editors? What do you guys recommend?
