Thumbnails are HTTP. Full size images are HTTPS?

[ad_1]

I have a wordpress site where thumbnails are HTTP and full size images are HTTPS. The thumbnails are causing mixed content warnings. Clicking the thumbnail opens the full image.

I noticed the issue after the SSL certificate was updated. I didn’t notice any issues before the update but wasn’t looking for any so cannot 100% confirm there weren’t any.

Is this a common issue and is there a simple fix?

  1. It sounds like you might need to update the URLs of your thumbnails to HTTPS. One way to fix this is by using a plugin like “Really Simple SSL” or “Better Search Replace” to update all the HTTP URLs to HTTPS.
