Tidying up ??

[ad_1]

There probably isn't an easy answer to this (and I understand ive done this to my myself) but…
When installing a new theme that recommends it's own editor and then an editor for the editor…. and then deciding this isn't the theme you've wanted how do you filter out the unnecessary?

So I have gone through a dozen or so free templates that mesh well with woocommerce but all seem to have their own builder, editor and widgets…. now I don't know what goes with what and it's such a CF.

delete all and start fresh?? Very frustrating.

  1. Delete and start over. You created a hoarder’s sanctuary. So bye bye to that. I’ve a builder that you want to use and a theme that is okay with it. That’s it. People put too much thought into a theme. They don’t matter as much anymore. You can build almost 98% of every site type with 2024 theme, OceanWP, Hello Elementor and so on. Free themes. If premium themes is your thang, then expect the bloat.

  2. Delete it all. Meaning it is so easy to delete the WordPress install and start over. Don’t sweat it, very easy to Nuke it all.
When I first started, I must have tried 13 themes, before I settled.
I did not know it at the time, but you can erase the WordPress install and install fresh new one.
