To charge or not to charge your client for LTDs you own already?

I probably could make way more money if I just charge for all the LTDs I purchased already.

But I kind of feel guilty to charge per year, when I don’t have to pay anything anymore, as I purchased the LTD. Sure, LTDs also had to be purchased and sometimes to a high price, but I always tell myself that this is my toolset to get work done, so it’s my investment.

How are you dealing with this? What’s the response from your client’s so far?

The client could also just purchase licenses themselves, but if I own already an unlimited LTD, it’s perhaps smarter to just get it from me (paid or for free)

EDIT: LTD = life time deal for a plugin license without annual payment

  1. What’s an LTD? An acronym for a lifetime/unlimited plugin/theme license?

Up your rates by a few $$ to cover the cost.
