The latest version of WordPress (.org. Don’t know about .com) hid the option to set a link to open in a new tab. 6 steps are now required to achieve this goal, where previously there were only 1. In engaging with the contributors, one thing that I have noticed is that they are saying opening links in a new tab is bad, which seems counterintuitive to me.
I just want to get the opinion from other content producers. WordPress used to be a joy while doing my job but now, it has become a constant source of high blood pressure.
