Hello gang, I’ve been trying to figure out something simple for more than a week and I think the theme developer is tired of my support tickets.
My theme “Omexo” comes with “webinar” pages in the demo, like this: [https://demo.omexer.com/main/web-programming-career-guideline/])
I want to be able to record interviews and make them available ONLY to logged in users, but I’m really struggling. When they visit the page with the interview, it should direct to login or register. Once they register, they should be able to go to a member’s area where they can find all of the interviews.
How do I set this up?
Here’s an example interview page I’ve been putting together on my site: [https://www.schoolofgrowthhacking.com/nick-van-voskuilen-instagram/])
I tried installing a plugin called “Content Control” and when I tried to “lock” a page it did nothing but cause it to redirect to the WP login.
Appsumo interviewed me a couple of years back and I want to create something similar like they did for my interview page: [https://appsumo-remote-series.heysummit.com/talks/growth-hacking-secrets/])
At this moment, I’m having trouble getting anything to work, from registration form and follow up… Even the countdown timer on the interview page doesn’t work π π π

It could be the theme is not standard. I am not familiar with the content plugin but it might be fine.
Look at the plug in paid membership pro. https://wordpress.org/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/
You could try Ultimate Member – it’s free. You can’t charge for membership – but it does what you need. The docs are pretty good. I think there’s a woocommerce integration if you want to charge.
Otherwise it’s a question of checking member plugins and picking the best looking one based on features/price
