I’d appreciate thoughts on my plan of action. I’ve been asked to redo a website that is already on a host and has paid-for plugins, but does not have staging. I don’t want to lose the paid plugins of course. So if I backed up the WordPress install, and installed it on a temporary domain to work on. Then copied the new version back to the original host.
Would this work without losing licenses etc? I fear they may not like being on the temporary domain.
