As per your mentioned query it seems that the issue you are facing is due to the theme or third party plugin please run a test by deactivating the theme and plugin one by one .
Thanks for the prompt reply. Since it is a big site with a lot of functions and plugins, that it is a bit too extensive for me to check them one by one for a single translation string.
I will have to leave it as is. Thanks anyway.
