I want to have an image at the top of each page of my site with the header sitting on top of that, so that the header is effectively transparent, just the logo, navigation being visible over the background image.
One way I’ve thought of is to remove the header section of the page template completely , build a new header using the cover block, social icons and navigation and save that whole section as a custom block. That block would then be used at the top of each page.
But that would mean that the ‘Header’ section wouldn’t be used at all. What are the consequences of this strategy?
