Trouble Saving Changes to Site Address URL in WordPress Multisite Network

[ad_1]

Hi everyone, hope you’re all well.

I’m encountering a bit of a puzzling issue with my WordPress multisite network, and I’m hoping some of you experienced WordPress users might be able to shed some light on this.

I have a multisite setup with a couple of subdomains, and I’m trying to swap the URLs of two of my subsites while keeping the content intact. In other words, I want the content of Subdomain A to appear when visitors go to Subdomain B’s URL, and vice versa.

Now, here’s the problem: When I go to “Network Admin > Sites” and edit the site address URL for each subsite, my changes don’t seem to be saving properly. I edit the URL, click “Save Changes,” but the field remains unchanged.

I’ve tried a few things like clearing my browser cache, checking for plugin conflicts, and ensuring my WordPress core and plugins are up to date. But the issue persists.

I’m a bit stuck and not sure what might be causing this. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue with WordPress multisite settings? Do you have any suggestions on how I could troubleshoot or solve this problem?

If it’s worth mentioning, I’m the superadmin of the network, and have full capabilities over all sites.

Any help or insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
