Trouble Updating (Curl problem?) | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

I’m not at all sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I wonder if anyone else it seeing this issue and maybe knows more about what’s going on.

On my test site (using the WordPress Beta Tester plugin) I can’t update to RC1:

Downloading update from http://downloads.projectdmc.org/release/wordpress-6.3-RC1.zip…

Download failed.: cURL error 60: SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'downloads.projectdmc.org'

Installation failed.

I’m running this on my Linux desktop and I just updated Curl this morning. I *think* that’s the problem. I did see this notice:

https://ubuntu.com/security/notices/USN-6237-2

And I do have all the current libraries recommended there.

Anyone else having a problem like this?
