So I am not a software engineer or in IT so I was hoping for advice.
I have an idea that would allow users to buy a service. I cant get into the full details so Im going to use a hypothetical business to explain the website. Lets say a user has an service in his/her house (In house counselling, or a Tutor course in his or her house)
I want a website that
1. Allows the user to Subscribe for a monthly fee of (5-10 dollars a month)
2. Allows the user selling the service to place his/her location on a map similar to arcgis or google maps. So the user gets to give location and details of the service and contacts.
3. A private messaging board (similar to FB messenger) so that the one wants the service can contact the one who provides the service.
I just want to know is wordpress a viable platform to create such a website?

You don’t need to develop this yourself. You can use an existing appointment scheduling application.
You can use Paid Memberships Pro plugin or a Job Boards plugin.
