Can i use the unused images in WP-Optimize safely ? cause i remember my friend once warn me about it, it sometimes can delete images from old post that are USED

In my experience no tools exist that reliably delete unused images. Do a backup first.
Don’t do it.
So far I have had the most success with the [https://meowapps.com/products/media-cleaner-pro/](https://meowapps.com/products/media-cleaner-pro/) plugin, although it isn’t perfect as well, so I backup the sites before doing anything (usually with All in one WP migration plugin).
