I updated my works website today and now all the images are gone. They are still in my media library so I tried to put them back but it just won’t stay there when I update the page. As far as I know the page hasn’t been backed up and it says there are plugins that need updating. I don’t want to mess anything else up. Will that fix it? HELP!

Did you back the site up before doing updates? Just do a restore.
If you didn’t, then I think you should probably ask the company web developer for help, because you aren’t really qualified to be doing updates without knowledge of debugging websites and solid update procedures.
We might be able to attempt a guess if you shared a link to a broken image page, or shared the code for where the images are supposed to be. It’s likely going to be more involved than just that though.
