Updating Jetpack caused a fatal error on my site

[ad_1]

Hi,

I recently updated Jetpack, which caused a fatal error.

I was notified by email and entered WordPress’s recovery mode to deactivate Jetpack.

I tried then to reactivate Jetpack via the WordPress dashboard and received the error message, “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

I then attempted to delete Jetpack in order to reinstall it, however I get the error message, “Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

In addition having deactivated Jetpack and exited recovery mode, the majority of my page content has been wiped.

Any help would be appreciated.

Below are the details:

WordPress version 6.4.3
Active theme: Astra (version 4.1.6)
Current plugin: Jetpack (version 13.2)
PHP version 8.1.27 Error Details
