So I use a site builder (Brizy) and really like it. When I set up a new site for a client. I do the usual security musts but recently am a bit worried about the theme I upload.

As I use the site builder, I don’t need a theme but I generated my own blank theme a while ago just so I can have the theme to show my logo and name if anyone ever checks + I wasn’t sure if a theme would be loaded in the background of a site builder if it was activated therefore unnecessarily slowing down the site.

How much of a risk is it using a blank-generated theme? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Pretty minimal, but impossible to say without reviewing the theme’s code. Did you base it on any ‘blank’-style theme like “underscores”?
