I do wonder if it’s possible to use a number * price such as $39 each and they can enter a number that will multiply by the price. Is this possible?
Yes, you can use the Number field for that, and then add a calculation field for multiplying the values.
Here’s a small form which you can test to see how the calculations are set up in the fields:
