Users Can Still Submit More than One Response to Limited Quizzes if……

[ad_1]

I’d like to report a bug with the Quizzes:

– Let’s say that I configured a quiz for 1 maximum submission (from the Behavior tab).

– Let’s also say that there are several people looking at the quiz at the same time (which is reasonable if your blog is fairly popular).

If Person #1 submitted an answer, I noticed that other people can also submit answers simply because they had the quiz open at that same time. So it will log their submissions as well, instead of saying  that the maximum submissions have been reached.

In essence, the quiz imposes the limit ONLY IF those other visitors were to refresh / reload the page. Then, and only then, the quiz would prevent them from submitting their answer.

For comparison, the above issue does NOT happen with regular Forms. In other words: As soon as person #1 pressed the “Submit” button on a form, then all other users received the “Limit reached” warning when they tried to submit, even if they had the form open in real-time / at the same time from their own browser, without even having to reload the page. Makes sense?

The quizzes should work similarly to regular Forms, the latter which rightfully imposes the “limit reached” warning in real-time across all users who are looking at that form/page at the exact same time.

P.S. This is not related to any ajax/caching setting, as I also checked on that. Feel free to try it from your end to confirm.

Thanks!
