Using subdomain to point new primary website to subdomain (via godaddy)

Hi,

I have a primary domain (www.abcde.com) with WordPress basic (all via godaddy)

I have now purchased a new domain (www.123456.com).

Can I create a subdomain (123456.abcde.com) and use it for pointing my new primary domain (www.123456.com) to the subdomain.

I’d like to try and save money on the WordPress hosting – I don’t mind upgrading from basic to another plan…

But I just want to avoid purchasing a whole new WordPress subscription for my new domain…
