I want to create a forum which looks exactly like a subreddit page, am new here and I really want to learn, what I had in mind is:
1- Create a forum looks like a sub reddit page
2- Create data base for users \[Sign in / Sign up\]
3- Up vote and down vote system
4- etc…
I want it to be simple not as complicated as reddit, I would love to hear your advice guys on:
What tools to use?
Where I can learn how to build?
Do you recommend any plugins for this?

Is there a reason you want to use WordPress to build a forum? I love WordPress, but why not use forum software to build a forum?
