Using WP Rocket and Ezoic? Are they compatible?

[ad_1]

Hey guys! I have been working on getting my site faster, and bought WP rocket yesterday. I saw a huge boost in speed which has been great. This morning I got approved for Google Adsense, so I figured it’s a good time to set up Ezoic because I know it integrates well with Google Adsense.

What I didn’t realize is that Ezoic also optimizes your site speed with caching. I’m worried that Ezoic and WP Rocket might have issues working together.

Has anybody used WP Rocket and Ezoic simultaneously before? I know Ezoic requires a plugin too, so I want to make sure they are compatible before I install the Ezoic plugin. Thanks

  1. I work full time in wordpress speed optimization.

Technically WP Rocket and Ezoic are “compatible” but you cannot have the same optimization turned on in both. So if you’re minifying the CSS in Ezoic, you cannot then minify the CSS in WP Rocket too.

I’d recommend only using Ezoic to optimize the ads on the site, I believe there’s a preconnect setting for ads within Ezoic LEAP – and then using WP Rocket (or other plugins) to do the majority of the on-site optimization.

From experience (and just my opinion), Ezoic is good for providing the website with relevant ads – rubbish for everything else (speed optimization included).
