# Background

I am currently testing the plugin updates, the list of plugins I updated are as follows:

  • Elementor
  • Elementor Pro
  • Essential Addons

There are other plugins updated such as click to chat and Yoast plugin, but those are not mentioned, as they don’t seem related

I’m also using the astra theme, for additional context.

The test page is staging.petcoach.sg

The production page (which is currently working well without the updates) is petcoach.sg

## Issue

### Header Dropdown is Hidden

The header and footer is not behaving as expected after the plugin update. See the screenshot of the header below where:

  • The header dropdown is hidden behind the next component
Expected behaviour: The header dropdown should not be hidden, it should be infront of the next component
  • Expected behaviour is as follows:

### Header is hidden – When scrolling

Current behaviour — header is hidden when scrolling

Expected behaviour — header remains sticky and displayed infront:

### Header – Settings

  • Section Settings — Overlay: Default
  • Inner section, overlay is set to default too

## Issue — Footer

The footer has also style formatting that is not normal

### The footer style is no longer overlayed

It seem to have it’s own component

### Expected Behaviour Footer — Overlay

The expected behaviour for the footer is as follows — the style should be overlayed
