Variable products: exclude parent product from feed

I create an XML Feed for Skroutz (Greece) and I would like to know if I can create this:
If I a product has 3 variations, then in the XML feed I get 4 entries (products):

  1. the root/parent product
  2. Variation #1
  3. Variation #2
  4. Variation #3

How can I exclude the root product from the feed, leaving ONLY the 3 variants/variations?
