The option “If variation has no image then show image from main product” is enabled/checked. It works on Products with only one attribute variation – in my case the attribute “color” (pa_color). If the product has also “size” (pa_size) as a variant the variation isn´t displayed anymore. Although “image” is selected as attribute type and also the variation-list has the class name »image-variable-items-wrapper« the fileds are buttons with the class name »variable-item-span-button«. The swatches-settings are set to default for the product. So at the moment it works fine with only one variation but not with more.
