Hi!
Since a recent version (I think EDD 3.1) a new bug was introduced during checkout. The VAT calculation fails when switching Payment Gateways.
The way to reproduce this, is as follows:
- Make sure VAT is configured in EDD
- Make sure you’re not logged in
- Add a product to your cart
- Enter address information that will require VAT to be added
- Wait for the VAT calculation and take note of the amount at the bottom of the checkout page (Purchase Total). It will now include VAT.
- Now, scroll back up and switch payment gateways.
- After that, scroll back down and you’ll notice the VAT is no longer included.
