It looks like the REST API is being blocked so the tracking script isn’t firing. There is an option in Perfmatters to disable the API, so I’m guessing that’s what the issue is.
If you want to block the REST API, I would recommend using this plugin instead:
It will allow you to whitelist the route the Independent Analytics uses, while blocking every other route.

Thanks a lot for thespeedy response. Turning off the rest API was not my intention but the developer whom we hired turned off I guess, thinking it can improve the performance. I unchecked the disable API option and saved the settings. Now the counter is working in action. Just wanted everyone to know that.
