I am trying to update an existing page using the visual editor and it is not displaying correctly, instead showing the HTML for any formatting and images.

I’m specifically trying to replace an image with a new one. I can paste the URL into the code but it still shows the original image when I preview the updates. It is the same in both the classic and block editor and I have tried clearing my cache and toggling the ‘Disable visual editor when writing’ option in my profile.
Any ideas? This is driving me crazy!

You have a broken page builder plugin that is causing issues. Step 1 is disable your page builder plugin and see if it fixes the issue. If not start disabling plugins 1 by 1 until you figure out which one is causing the issues. Once you have narrowed down the plugin, either update it, or remove it if an update isn’t available.
