W3 Total Cache Error – nothing helps

Hello,

I have WordPress site running on Azure VM.

After removing W3 Total Cache plugin, I can’t access the admin area. I get this error:

” **W3 Total Cache Error: Some files appear to be missing or out of place.** Remove advanced-cache.php.”

I deleted the file through FTP. And I deleted all other files as recommended in multiple forums.

However, the error message is still there and I still can’t access WP backend. The frontend is running.

I will be super grateful for any additional ideas

  1. I’m not sure how it’s possible for that error to show if you have deleted the advanced-cache.php file? Try deleting /wp-content/cache

  2. I deleted EVERYTHING from the “wwwroot” folder.

The website is still on, only images disappeared.

    Still can’t access admin area.

Does anyone have any idea please?
