W3 Total Cache Error without FTP access

[ad_1]

Hello Guys, I tried to remove W3 Total Cache plugin from my WordPress – it wasn’t even activated.

Since I did that, I’m not able to access the Admin area, and following error pops up:

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

This is an Azure VM and I don’t have access to FTP to recover this.

Is there any workaround? Or did I mess up big time? Frontend works fine.

Not familiar with Azure, but if you have access to hosting’s Panel (like cPanel), and you have a File Manager there – you can do it in that way as well.
