Hi there. I have a little wordpress website using Astra and elementor pro.
Yesterday someone contacted me to say the hamburger links (some, not all) do not work on their android phone. The page loaded, the links just didn't work. They were able to contact me through a contact form, so it's not that the website itself was inaccessible.
I am on iphone and mac and everything is ok for me. I contacted hosting to ask some questions, they said they were able to access without problems – but in retrospect I think they just loaded the page and didn't actually try to click the links.
When I gave the person direct links they worked fine.
Someone told me download Android studio but I tried that and wow, really overwhelming as I am just an amateur here.
I have seen a few comments about hamburger links in other forums and I'm thinking there may be a conflict between Astra and Elementor pro and if so, I guess I will have to use another theme because I not willing to give up elementor pro, it was too hard to get things to where they are now.
REALLY HOPING CONFLICT IS NOT THE CASE! 🙏
I understand people have strong opinions about web builders but I just want to know is there a way I can verify that hamburger links do or dont word on an android device / phone?
Incredibly, I literally know not one person with an android device, i have asked tons of people already!
If there is a company that offers link checking like this as a service I'd pay for it.
If there is a subreddit where people are willing to test links, that would be great.
But the android studio was too overwhelming for me….
I am hoping this was an issue with that person's phone and not my site!
