Wcfm vs dokan

WCFM or Dokan

Heya!

I'm currently running quite a large site on WCFM and I'm noticing quite some performance issues that are caused by WCFM. I also have to do a lot of work to keep stuff working as by default a lot of stuff simply doesn't work or does a bad job at it (conditional badges for example are an absolute performance killer).

I'm looking into Dokan, what are people their experience with Dokan? I'm seeing some mixed reviews, some say its really good, others point out its quite buggy. I dont want to spend a lot of money and keep fixing bugs.
