Website becomes unresponsive after scrolling for a while or hovering over links on the website (either to ads or other pages)

Hi All!

I’ve had my website running smoothly for around 8/9 months, but in early November I noticed when I would scroll on my website on a PC, the page would become unresponsive.

I’ve deactivated the plugins one by one but they don’t seem to be causing an issue. I’ve also reinstalled the latest version of WordPress but again, no fix.

This only happens on a PC, so using the site on a phone is totally fine from what I can see. It usually happens when I hover over links, but it isn’t always the case. Bit hard to explain it when I can’t share links.

Any suggestions?

I’m currently using Elementor if that helps at all.
