In this case, you’ll need to modify the settings under Settings -> Reading. From there, you’ll be able to select which page is the home page and which one is the blog page. Something like this —

Thanks for this @cteduard – Home page works fine now. Hoever still having a problem with the blog. I have no drop menu to choose blog, and only option I have is to edit in the PAGE settings:
No idea where my original blog has gone.
Maybe it’s best to redo the blog design again. If so, how would bring back the old template for the blog?

Well, I’m not sure what happened either, because I don’t know what you did. 🙂
The blog page is automatically inheriting all settings if you set it in Settings -> Reading as told above. Have you set the blog page?
