This is a pretty niche issue created by a pretty niche plugin, so I don’t imagine I will receive any help, but there are some very smart people in this community so I thought I would ask.
I am using this plugin called ‘Specific content for mobile’ that does… well.. that. It creates an alternative version of a specific page to be viewed on mobile. I’m using it for a not-so-responsive site I built a while back. I hopefully will not have to use this plugin after this point, but I just don’t want to have to rebuild this site from the ground up again -its a personal one-. So, I’m just using this plugin to create a mobile version of it.
The issue with it is honestly really odd. When I pull up the site on mobile after making some changes, it will randomly choose an outdated version of the mobile site to show me. For example, I rearranged some items to test this plugins functionality, then clicked ‘update’ -I’m using elementor-. Around 15 minutes later after making a rough draft of the header, I updated again. I then fully configured the front page around an hour later then made my final update. When I pull up the page on mobile, it shows that first update. It stayed like this for around 10 minutes then went to the 2nd update. It swapped between the 1st update and the 2nd update for the next hour or so, and the finished product has yet to show on mobile.
EDIT: It just switched to an almost finished version? Not exactly what I’m looking for, though.
This is such a strange issue, but I’m wondering if anyone has any insight. I would contact the plugin developer but it seems the last time they were active -in comments at least- was 2 years ago.
If you have no ideas, is there perhaps another way around creating a separate mobile page for a site? Thank you.
