I have my website hosted on Dreamhost, using the managed WordPress feature, and I selected the Boldgrid and Crio themes as they seemed to fit what I wanted my pages to look like most.
Plugins are:
Boldgrid – Easy Seo, Gallery, Inspirations, Total Upkeep Crio Premium.
WP super cache
Accelerated Mobile Pages
Weforms
Really Simple SSL
Monster Insights
Google Analytics
Smush
WP Mail SMTP
a3 lazy load (currently deactivated since I think Smush does the same thing)
Load times are anywhere between 5-10 seconds, which seems like an eternity, and I’m seeing on other forums where you want it to be sub 3 seconds or engagement slows down.
Are any of my plugins the issue? are there faster theme plugins than boldgrid? and could the hosting be the issue?
The website is for my local roofing business and I’ve gotten a lot of flak from potential clients about the site and how clunky it seems.
