Website keeps blocking admin IPs?

WPEngine hosted website. Multiple times randomly this past month the IP associated with the Admin account on our WordPress/Woocommerce site has been blacklisted.

Accessing the website from a VPN / cellular network, or any other client, yields the website. If the IP address of the admin account tries, it’s unable to connect to server.

WPEngine support previously added it to a whitelist to prevent this from happening, but it has happened again.

Any ideas on things that could be triggering this?

  1. WordPress, by default, doesn’t have a way to block IPs

    So you’re going to have to talk to your hosting provider to see why it happens.
