Website loads slow at first, but then speeds up with subsequent visits

I recently made a website that doesn’t get any traffic at the moment. I notice that if I visit the website the first time, it takes about 30-60 seconds to load.

Then after that, it takes <3 seconds, even if I use different devices. My GT metrix score is good too, coming in at 99% performance.

I am using a shared hosting platform with minimal plugins. Could this be because I don’t have any site traffic?
