Website Pricing Help

[ad_1]

Hello all!

I know pricing varies based on location and the project. So I’m not expecting exact pricing more on just if I am priced well.

I’ve been running a one man website agency as a side gig for the past 6 years. I changed my business model a few years back promoting more of a Website as a service model. So instead of paying 1k-6k for a website upfront. They pay $200-$500 a month for website design, hosting, and maintenance. This is a year contract and after they are charged the same but if they want to cancel they can and they can take their site with them. I haven’t had one cancel yet so I’m making usually 2-3 times the value if I sold as a one time project. Most of these sites are very low maintenance sites as well. I spend less than 2 hours a month managing all of them.

The only (good) problem is I just partnered with a company that helps dental practices/startups and they are referring me for all the dental practices that come to them.

So I’m trying to evaluate if I should keep my prices the same or if they need to be adjusted. Does that price point seem too low/high or do you think that is priced fair? Do you think the pricing model I’m doing is good or should I change it?

Thanks for any feedback/advice!

  1. 1600 or 200-500 a month? Waw. I was doing 50 a month and 400-500 first month. Or 800. (Simple website).

If it works don’t change !!!
