I have a wordpress website on bluehost. It’s underconstruction, Totally new with only 30 posts.
But it is very very slow to load. I used elementor for homepage design. The rest of the website is a premium theme.
I added w3 total cache and cloudflare but nothing improved at all
What should I do?

To get started, the first thing you will need to do is work through this guide on properly testing your sites speed [https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-run-a-website-speed-test-best-tools/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-run-a-website-speed-test-best-tools/)
Then you will want to work on those items with this guide on optimization [https://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-performance-speed/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-performance-speed/)
There are several speed guide from Elementor too [https://elementor.com/help/speed-up-a-slow-site/](https://elementor.com/help/speed-up-a-slow-site/)
>bluehost
you can tweak and optimize all you want but Bluehost is EIG (*Newfold Digital*) so you will get terrible performance.
EIG and Newfold are infamous…

I have something similar, slow out of the box. I suspect it’s my cheap hostingprovider and am considering hosting it myself on rpi5. Can’t get worse than this. 😄
Bluehost along with GoDaddy are the ghetto of the hosting community.
Even a WordPress site optimized to the max with PHP 8.3 and caching sucks.
Get better hosting if you value your business.
The most annoying thing you can do to a visitor to your site is to have a SLOW site.
It could be different things. Your first step is to run a speed test on the site, and then check what the results suggest. Make a few updates, and then check if things improve.
Second, you’re on BlueHost, and I’m guessing the shared plan. I’m on their hosting as well at the moment, but they’re one of the cheaper providers for building a basic brochure type site. I’ve been meaning to leave them for a while, but every time I check suggestions, they’re always 2x the cost, or require something like a VPS or cloud provider which requires more work than I’m familiar with.
SiteGround is a bit faster and costs a bit more than BlueHost. Hostinger Cloud Startup plan is supposedly good too… Haven’t tried it.
You can sometimes get valuable info about performance bottlenecks from the Query Monitor plugin. And always from the Lighthouse feature of Chrome devtools.
