Please try going to WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Status tab, and click on the Reinstall fonts button. Then, open a generated invoice and check if it looks good.

Thank you! I couldn’t find this, but it is in the ‘Advanced’ tab under ‘Tools’.
Oh, you’re right! I forgot that just a few weeks ago we introduced a new Advanced tab on 3.7.2 last month (Nov 8th) along several new tools (see changelog), so the new path to this tool is WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Advanced > Tools > Reinstall fonts: Sorry the mix-up!
