I was wondering if anyone had experienced a similar issue when accessing your media library through the page editor?
As shown in pics – if I try to replace an image via page editor, the media library appears completely blurred (but still ‘functions’ – just a shame I can’t accurately see what I’m selecting)!
It looks a lot like the background blurring which occurs when there’s a pop-up notification, e.g. when something has been updated and you have a quick patch notes pop-up which you can close to get your media gallery back to normal – except there’s no pop up for me to click!
Unless it’s somehow a template issue?
I can view my media gallery just fine if I go into it independently (ignore the blank spaces, separate issue with HEIC images not registering correctly).

Updating / reinstalling all plugins hasn’t helped. I’m kind of stumped, hoping someone has found a solution?
Tl;dr – media gallery blurry when access via page editor, no idea how to get around it!

That’s strange! Do you know if you have any custom editor styles loading on the back-end? Either from your theme or plugins?
If you right-click and ‘inspect’ element – have a look to see if there is CSS to blur the library, and it should tell you where that CSS is coming from. (that’s if it’s a css thing anyway).
