Weird thing happening with phone number on contact-us page.

[ad_1]

A client I do some blog posts for has contacted me about an issue with their website. They have a contact us page which lists several locations, and each location has its own phone number. The site runs on WP w/ WPBakery.

When the client opens the website through Google app on iPhone, each location displays a completely different number than what’s actually posted on the website. It displays same number for all locations. The original phone numbers aren’t displayed at all. When the person calls that number, it forwards to their business, but they don’t have any recollection of ever owning this number, or setting it up. They tried it on another iPhone w/ Google app, and same issue comes up.

I tried to reproduce this issue on my phone, and I get the correct numbers displayed for each business location.

Anyone ever run into this issue before? This started happening recently, and the only two changes that the site has had that I can think of is it changed hosting from GoDaddy to Siteground, and there’s also someone who was doing keyword optimizations for SEO (don’t know if on-site or off-site). Regardless, the site’s contact info looks correct on my end, but I’ve seen the different phone number on the client’s screenshots.
