What is the best way to build a course website on wordpress?

Hi everyone. I was trying to build a website for something that is akin to a course, but not quite. This was something that I wanted to do for a while as a business, so I thought I try and build an MVP. However, I only know the basics of coding, you can consider me a senior beginner.

I didn’t have money so I am trying to set something minimal up myself, atleast initially to see if anyone would actually use it.

Requirements:

2 membership plans

A membership plan allows a logged in user to go to a dashboard and access a set of tasks (like chapters/lessons)

Each lesson can be marked as complete/incomplete

For each completed lesson, there will be a progress bar that gets updated

For each lesson there will also be suggested timelines for completion

Where I am having trouble:

I am coming across many youtube videos that have a number of suggestions for doing this like Memberpress, ProfilePress, UltimateMember etc. but the problem is that based off those videos it seems like the membership option just gives them access to certain posts, **it doesn’t capture some inputs the user may provide such as answers to questions or give a test or maybe they take some notes.**

How can I capture the user specific data?

I also wanted to create a feature where based on when the user joins and a specific deadline (to elaborate its a preparatory website for college applications and those have fixed deadlines), I can give them a schedule of a specific set of tasks that needs to be completed. I wanted to make this dynamic, as in if they join 2 months prior to the deadline, the tasks will be the same but their timelines for tasks will be different – unimportant tasks will be allotted less time given its priority.

Can you all direct me to some resources from which I can learn. Any help will be appreciated. What I think might help is relevant plugins. I also know the basics of coding so if doing this requires complex coding I’ll really appreciate it if you can point me towards such tutorials.
